After a fairly lengthy lay-off from blogging, I finally have something to blog about.
2015 has started quite well. I have a couple of new stories appearing in Mirror Dance and Beneath Ceaseless Skies later this year as well as a reprint of an older tale in The Best of Heroic Fantasy Quarterly.
The Fate of Master Wenang, due in the spring edition of Mirror Dance, is part of a short sequence of stories that have sat gathering dust for a while, set in and around the city of Sen Chan and partly inspired by the Kai Lung by Ernest Bramah.
So Strange the Trees is a return to the Shining Cities and the end of the world. A story of love, loss and duelists, it is due to appear in Beneath Ceaseless Skies later this year.
Finally, the good folks at Heroic Fantasy Quarterly are producing a Best of which features my Tulun of Birjand story The Black Flowers of Sevan.
All in all, so far so good.
